From the Altiplano to The Amazon

(14 days / 13 nights)

From Arequipa, the white city and pursuing through Puno and Cusco, you will be able to discover the beautiful mountain’s landscapes of the Peruvian Altiplano and the fabulous Incas’ sites before to dive into the heart of Amazonian forest and appreciate the amazing richness of fauna and flora.

The transportation between the different stopovers are made by plane and offer a real comfort during this trip ( 4 intern flights).


1st day :

Landing in Lima International Airport transfer to the hotel

2nd day :

In the morning, flight to Arequipa, the white city. In the afternoon, visit of Santa Catalina convent, real city in the city
Night in Arequipa

3rd day :

Excursion to the Colca Valley and its famous canyon (one of the deepest in the world) Night in Chivay

4th day :

Excursion until the condor cross to appreciate the show of these majestic birds. Return and night in Arequipa.

5th day :

Transfer to Arequipa airport, flight to Juliaca. Transfer to Puno on the banks of Titicaca Lake Free Afternoon in Puno

6th day :

Excursion on Titicaca Lake, visit of Uros ilands (floating islands) and Taquile, island that preserved its community way of life. One night Home stay in Taquile (rustic comfort) that will notably allow you to appreciate the sunset and sunrise on the lake.

7th day :

Private transportation Puno-Cusco with discovery of superb Altiplano’s landscapes. Night in Cusco

8th day :

Day in Cusco, the ancient capital of the Inca Empire. In the morning, visit of the sumptuous cathedral and the temple of the Sun. In the afternoon, visit of the 4 archeological sites, among them the famous Saqsayhuaman, where takes place every year the Intiraymi, the sun festival.

9th day :

Excursion in private transportation to the Sacred Valley of the Incas. Visit of Pisaq and Ollantaytambo sites, salt mines of Maras, natural curiosity in the middle of the mountains and Chincheros.
Night in Cusco

10th day :

Train to Machupicchu, visit of the most famous Inca site. Possibility to ascent Wayna Picchu Return by train to Cusco, night in Cusco

11th day :

In the morning, flight from Cusco to Puerto Maldonado. Boat (2 hours) from Puerto Maldonado on the Madre-de-Dios river (tributary of Amazon river) to get into a natural reserve in the heart of Amazonian forest. In the afternoon, walking to come close to fauna and flora. Night in Lodge

12th day :

Trek (easy) in the Amazonian forest to observe the fauna and flora. Night in lodge

13th day :

After breakfast, transfer to the airport and then flight Puerto Maldonado/Lima Transfer to the hotel Free day in Lima (possibility to visit the Museum of Gold)

14th day :

International flight
